High-end Designer Wedding Dresses
At a 2018 Los Angeles bridal show the Winnie Couture booth was positioned just across from Three16 Photography. After a weekend of social media shenanigans at the bridal expo, we found ourselves befriending some of the lovely staff at Three16Photography. We continued developing our friendship while running into them at nearly all of the bridal shows we attended. Recently, we reached out to Three16Photography and asked if they wanted to be a part of our upcoming celebration. They graciously accepted our invitation, and got to planning!
This Grand Opening Celebration for the Beverly Hills flagship store for Winnie Couture was indeed one for the history books!
One of the fastest growing, highly requested in-demand bridal collection across the globe, Winnie Couture was founded in 2001 by Winnie and Chris Lee. Originally opened in 2009 the Beverly Hills location for Winnie Couture has recently had the look of their salon refreshed and have been relocated to just steps away from Rodeo Drive. Indulge in the uniquely luxurious and freshly redesigned showroom for a shopping experience that leaves every soon-to-be bride feeling like royalty.
We were ecstatic to work with Three16Photography during the grand opening to showcase the line of 2019 gowns for the show on February 21st, 2019! All of the gorgeous details of the event were captured, as well as photographs of the entire new collection.
In an openly grand and luxurious experience, guests entered the event lead by a red carpet leading to a bubbling greeting in the form of a glass of champagne. With towering floor-to-ceiling windows looking out above the bustling streets of Beverly Hills, the glowing natural sunlight pours into the showroom. The all-white interior brilliantly reflects the natural lighting, dazzling chandeliers and touches of silver draw the eye to the most enchanting elements of these gorgeous gowns.
Models walk amongst the partygoers while displaying the stunning new gowns from the 2019 collection, flaunting the beautiful designs of each dress. There is something to be said about the difference between seeing the full beauty of a dress being worn by someone, compared to viewing the dress on a mannequin or a hanger.
The event created a perfect opportunity for finding the right gown, especially for the brides who were still in the decision phase of finding their ideal dress. The intricate detailing and perfect craftsmanship of the new bridal gowns were both stunning. The models had their bridal looks completed with full hair and makeup done by Makeup by Sung, and their outfits completed with gorgeous heels and Winnie Couture exclusive sparkling headpieces.
The entertainment for the evening was provided by DJ Stevie Brock, who created the ideal atmosphere for the grand opening! Fabulous Functions provided beautiful flowers to help decorate the space and provide lovely natural colors. Guests were able to indulge in delicious cupcakes from Jaqki’s Cake Creations, and adorable Winnie Couture customized wedding dress cookies from Cocolat Sweet Designs Los Angeles. Mike and Chris from The Beach Bus Photo Booth provided a chance to take home a keepsake to remember the celebration and an opportunity for added fun! The beautiful backdrop of pink flowers was also perfectly crafted by Fabulous Functions by Jane. Thomas Brangle and Alec Veznedaroglu provided videography services for the event and captured the celebration and the gorgeous gowns perfectly.
At the event, many people got the unique privilege of meeting the designer herself, Winnie Chlomin Lee and her husband Chris. Much like the collections that she designs, Winnie is the embodiment of grace, elegance, and sophistication. Winnie’s passion for creating stunningly beautiful, unique, and stylish designs was apparent upon meeting her, and learning about her dedication is truly inspiring. Her gowns have been worn at weddings and red carpet appearances by a long list of celebrities including Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Aniston, Giuliana Rancic, Helen Hunt, Masiela Lusha, and Lea Michele. It’s obvious that she is an incredibly talented designer, and this event was a wonderful opportunity to meet here and be a part of the celebration!
The evening closed with a raffle and several amazing vendor giveaways. Caroline Malouf Boudoir Photography, Friar Tux, The Wall Fitness, and Paul Barris from dancing with the stars were some of the incredible providers of the prizes that brides had a chance to win.
